Ümit Akersoy charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ümit Akersoy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fågelmara IK's goalkeeper Olov Lilja, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Olov Lilja successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Hulusi Berkman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olov Lilja read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. In the 27th minute Andréas Asserlind shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tahsin Orguntay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Johan Tönnberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tahsin Orguntay was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Ümit Akersoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hulusi Berkman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Olov Lilja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Ümit Akersoy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Olov Lilja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ümit Akersoy in the 41st minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Under 18 Universe's Ümit Akersoy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Olov Lilja narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Under 18 Universe's Ümit Akersoy was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 44th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 55th minute, Göktuğ Boysel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Under 18 Universe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. 67 minutes into the game, Alfons Siggesson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fågelmara IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Under 18 Universe the free kick. After 67 played minutes Fågelmara IK got a freekick which was hit by Alfons Siggesson. Johan Tönnberg hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the match, Alfons Siggesson notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Under 18 Universe's Tahsin Orguntay. Tahsin Orguntay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 83 minutes into the match, Fågelmara IK's goal looked a bit too open when Ümit Akersoy came free, but Olov Lilja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olov Lilja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hulusi Berkman, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Fågelmara IK's Olov Lilja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ümit Akersoy in the 89th minute of play. Atalan Maruf kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Hulusi Berkman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
