Morro Grande E.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Roger Dohmen scored to the left of an out of position Gláuber Brodel, making the score, 1-0. 27 minutes into the match, Morro Grande E.C's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Dohmen came free, but Gláuber Brodel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jannik Huth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaká Sampaio in the 36th minute of play. After 37 minutes of play, Morro Grande E.C's Alfredinho Vieira made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jannik Huth was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jannik Huth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredinho Vieira in the 40th minute of play. Carsten Schaub charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carsten Schaub the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 43 played minutes SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. got a freekick which was hit by Carsten Schaub. In the 44th minute, Habib Ali Picavea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Morro Grande E.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carsten Schaub to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50thth minute of the game Habib Ali Picavea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Jannik Huth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jannik Huth was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Habib Ali Picavea capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Habib Ali Picavea really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. The supporters of SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. booed when Morro Grande E.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position.
