After a defensive mix-up in ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s zone, Evelio Ted stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gavino Orlan came out of the goal and Evelio Ted tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Desiderio Gaztea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Vistruario, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute, Maní FC's Lorenzo Henrico ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gavino Orlan. Gavino Orlan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lorenzo Henrico got free with Gavino Orlan in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s Gavino Orlan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ from getting a goal against them. Gavino Orlan made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Lorenzo Henrico sent off a good shot on target. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Desiderio Gaztea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Narciso Tano in the 54th minute. After a rather tough play, ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s Edgardo Txilar got a free kick in the 56th minute. Gavino Orlan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Ekialde in the 66th minute of play forced Maní FC's goalkeeper Desiderio Gaztea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gavino Orlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Ursino in the 67th minute of play. ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s Gavino Orlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evelio Ted in the 70th minute of play. Dario Isaio hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Saverio Ladio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Desiderio Gaztea. Maní FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Desiderio Gaztea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Narciso Tano in the 77th minute. In the 81st minute, Luisito Costante left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Maní FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. 90 minutes into the match, Maní FC's goalkeeper Desiderio Gaztea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaac Vistruario. A collision led to Maní FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Lucio Bonifaco hit a great ball. When the referee ended the match the Maní FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
