The supporters of Kwyjibo booed when Morro Grande E.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toninho Caca-Rato didn't get a good kick on the ball. Morro Grande E.C's Elói Penha was substituted for Marcos Ramalho. Toninho Caca-Rato kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Kwyjibo's Naelio Melena sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gláuber Brodel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Porfiro Caraduje charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Porfiro Caraduje the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Morro Grande E.C booed when Kwyjibo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Porfiro Caraduje didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Naelio Melena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Librado Erruz fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kwyjibo's protests and gave Librado Erruz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Kwyjibo getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Librado Erruz hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Habib Ali Picavea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Morro Grande E.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Habib Ali Picavea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basilio Urquioja breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Librado Erruz was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Esdras Navaridas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute Alfredinho Vieira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilio Urquioja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 58 minutes, Habib Ali Picavea made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Kwyjibo's Basilio Urquioja tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Kwyjibo defense, Habib Ali Picavea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Basilio Urquioja. The Kwyjibo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Basilio Urquioja should have stopped the shot. After 66 minutes of play, Morro Grande E.C's Habib Ali Picavea made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Basilio Urquioja was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 70th minute, Kaká Sampaio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 72 minutes of play, Morro Grande E.C's Habib Ali Picavea made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Basilio Urquioja was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 80 played minutes, Morro Grande E.C's Toninho Grau shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Basilio Urquioja came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Morro Grande E.C reached it. Basilio Urquioja didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfredinho Vieira went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. There was no doubt that Morro Grande E.C were the better team. Morro Grande E.C's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
