After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Nicanor Francesco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Nicanor Francesco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Günter Wienhold breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s Everardo Iaki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabien Grub in the 13th minute of play. After some careless play in the Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ. defense, Fabien Grub kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Everardo Iaki. The Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Everardo Iaki should have stopped the shot. Günter Wienhold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Chepe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ. were awarded a corner. Nicanor Francesco went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s goalie and right to Isaias Orzaize. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 30th minute of the match Nicanor Francesco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Günter Wienhold showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Dejan Leuschner got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 31st minute of the match Nicanor Francesco sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Günter Wienhold skillfully saved the ball. The SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Vincenzo Grifoll looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Isaias Orzaize recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Günter Wienhold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaias Orzaize in the 38th minute of play. Olaf Wagner had several of the Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 40 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Everardo Iaki as he didn't even see the shot coming. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isaias Orzaize was the one to do the kick off. Aaron Chepe struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Günter Wienhold didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.. In the 55th match minute, Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jason Bourne to maneuver through the defense. If Vincenzo Grifoll had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 63 played minutes Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ. got a freekick which was hit by Isaias Orzaize. Fabien Grub fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Iaki having to interfere. A collision led to SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Samuel Schweiger hit a great ball. Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s Jason Bourne got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Günter Wienhold showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Chepe, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Everardo Iaki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dejan Leuschner in the 79th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the game, Vincenzo Grifoll cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Everardo Iaki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Claudio Satordi fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s protests and gave Claudio Satordi a yellow card for diving instead. After 85 played minutes Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ. got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Satordi. The audience held their breath when Georg Gielchen in the 87th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Everardo Iaki's left hand side. Everardo Iaki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Georg Gielchen, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Everardo Iaki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabien Grub in the 88th minute of play. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ. for a fine match.
