In the 14th match minute, Morro Grande E.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélder Velasco to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, Morro Grande E.C's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Olof Soned came free, but Gláuber Brodel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven-Olof Soned could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Gláuber Brodel made a huge save. After 24 played minutes Morro Grande E.C got a freekick which was hit by Hélder Velasco. 25 minutes into the match, Morro Grande E.C's goalkeeper Gláuber Brodel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven-Olof Soned. Olov Lilja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorginho Mazza in the 28th minute of play. Toninho Caca-Rato hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Ekelund in the 34th minute of play forced Morro Grande E.C's goalkeeper Gláuber Brodel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
