Papillon AC's Rodolfo Herrera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Gorka in the 25th minute of play. Ciro Tonete kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. If Christian Ramone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filomeno Mon hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Octavio Dodorol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Papillon AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Octavio Dodorol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Higinio Terciero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Higinio Terciero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olli-Pekka Suoste went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olli-Pekka Suoste was the one to do the kick off. Christian Ramone charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christian Ramone the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 53 played minutes Maní FC got a freekick which was hit by Christian Ramone. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milton Friedman in the 54th minute of play forced Maní FC's goalkeeper Higinio Terciero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciro Tonete got his second yellow card in the match during the 57th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A nice corner shot did that Octavio Dodorol got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Higinio Terciero quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 74th minute Enzo Gorka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Herrera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erasmo Bikendis short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Higinio Terciero to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Erasmo Bikendi in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Higinio Terciero, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Milton Friedman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Terciero having to interfere. Higinio Terciero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milton Friedman, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Erasmo Bikendi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Higinio Terciero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Milton Friedman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Terciero having to interfere. Higinio Terciero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milton Friedman, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Higinio Terciero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gaspar Oinatz went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. When the match was over Papillon AC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Maní FC throughout the match.
