The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Adriano Ribeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Higinio Terciero made a huge save. Higinio Terciero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Adriano Ribeiro sped through Maní FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Higinio Terciero. After some careless play in the Maní FC defense, Adriano Ribeiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Higinio Terciero. The Maní FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Higinio Terciero should have stopped the shot. In the 13th minute Anders Westerstrand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Terciero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Adriano Ribeiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Higinio Terciero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Adriano Ribeiro took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Higinio Terciero. Higinio Terciero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Adriano Ribeiro succeeded in the game's 27th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-0. Clemente Guillem made in the 31st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Marco Ursino. Adriano Ribeiro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Higinio Terciero skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The throw-in from Clemente Guillem in the 35th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by The Obscurials's Kevin Lyle. After having played for 36 minutes, Kevin Lyle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Obscurials's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevin Lyle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38thth minute of the game Adriano Ribeiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maní FC's Higinio Terciero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The wind increased when Lorenzo Henrico made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute Adriano Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Terciero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adriano Ribeiro in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Higinio Terciero saved Maní FC from getting behind. Higinio Terciero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adriano Ribeiro went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Higinio Terciero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Obscurials made a substitution. Jimmie Cai replaced Kevin Lyle. After some careless play in the Maní FC defense, Jimmie Cai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Higinio Terciero. The Maní FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Higinio Terciero should have stopped the shot. Maní FC's Higinio Terciero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Ribeiro in the 78th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Adriano Ribeiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Higinio Terciero was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anders Westerstrand in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Higinio Terciero saved Maní FC from getting behind. In the 84th minute of the game Lucio Bonifaco made a throw-in which Honorio Oriol played forward. Higinio Terciero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Ribeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Higinio Terciero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anders Westerstrand in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Elpidio Jokin had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Honorio Oriol charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Honorio Oriol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Obscurials's Dani Willding was substituted for Elpidio Jokin. In the 93rd minute, Honorio Oriol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. The Obscurials fully deserved thier win.
