Gaspard Abeita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Milian in the 16th minute of the match. Carlos Germano made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Weather Albalate sent off a good shot on target. Gaspard Abeita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustaquio Jaizki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Germano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Weather Albalate, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 35 minutes into the match, Loco Team FC's Weather Albalate sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Germano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carlos Germano came out of the goal and Weather Albalate tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Weather Albalate managed to get in a good position for a shot. Loco Team FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Weather Albalate was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Germano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eustaquio Jaizki to make the kick off. The supporters of Loco Team FC booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Iban didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Atlanta's zone, Weather Albalate stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat.
