Edgard Barros took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Higinio Terciero. Higinio Terciero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Higinio Terciero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eustaquio Jaizki's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Eustaquio Jaizki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Higinio Terciero. Maní FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eustaquio Jaizki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Higinio Terciero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustaquio Jaizki, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Higinio Terciero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Jaizki in the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Caradaro in the 27th minute of play forced Maní FC's goalkeeper Higinio Terciero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Maní FC's Lucio Bonifaco got a free kick in the 29th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Maní FC's zone, Paolo Caradaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Higinio Terciero came out of the goal and Paolo Caradaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Higinio Terciero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustaquio Jaizki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 42 played minutes Maní FC got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Gorka. In the 45th minute, Paolo Caradaro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Flavio Lorencio was the one to do the kick off. Higinio Terciero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eustaquio Jaizki in the 60th minute. In the 66th minute Filomeno Mon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Germano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th match minute, Maní FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Gorka to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Maní FC's Higinio Terciero got control of the ball when Pedro Rojelio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Club Atlético Atlanta's Carlos Germano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Gorka in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Pedro Rojelio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Flavio Lorencio came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Maní FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavio Lorencio couldn't finish the play. Higinio Terciero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eustaquio Jaizki went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Edgard Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maní FC's Higinio Terciero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Maní FC from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Higinio Terciero successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 90 minutes into the match, Maní FC's goalkeeper Higinio Terciero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paolo Caradaro. Higinio Terciero made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Pedro Rojelio sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle sounded Club Atlético Atlanta left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Maní FC.
