In the 13th minute of the match, Blas Osoro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Keylor Navas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 22nd match minute, Papillon AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victoriano Mikelats to maneuver through the defense. Mauro Feo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Dodorol in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blas Osoro in the 30th minute of play forced Papillon AC's goalkeeper Keylor Navas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Keylor Navas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Melchor Gonzo in the 37th minute. Octavio Dodorol hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. A collision led to Papillon AC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Oscar Urki hit a great ball. The NECKER49 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Papillon AC were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Simon Osasun made the kick off in the second half. Keylor Navas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melchor Gonzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raul Raymon charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raul Raymon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Raul Raymon hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute of the match Aristides Sansone shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mauro Feo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Keylor Navas came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by NECKER49's Severiano Pasqual. But to his dismay, Severiano Pasqual quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Pasqual in the 62nd minute of play forced Papillon AC's goalkeeper Keylor Navas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Keylor Navas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severiano Pasqual, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Papillon AC's goal looked a bit too open when Remigio Bermund came free, but Keylor Navas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Keylor Navas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melchor Gonzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the game, Melchor Gonzo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Keylor Navas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 77 minutes into the match, Papillon AC's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Ursino came free, but Keylor Navas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, Milton Friedman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Papillon AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NECKER49 the free kick. A collision led to NECKER49 getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Jacobo Goren hit a great ball. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind NECKER49's goalkeeper Mauro Feo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Papillon AC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Octavio Dodorol in the 86th minute. After taking down the ball on Papillon AC's corner Octavio Dodorol fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mauro Feo quite easily take care of the ball. In the 86th minute of the match, Teofilo Milian got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mauro Feo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Keylor Navas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melchor Gonzo in the 92nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, NECKER49's Ruperto Tano got a free kick in the 95th minute. NECKER49 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Papillon AC for a fine match.
