Aureliano Obeko was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 9th minute, Sam Bates hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Wilfredo Quinto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pat Zamora. That made the score 1-1 in the 11 minute of play. Aureliano Obeko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sam Bates in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Leones FC's goalkeeper Aureliano Obeko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 18th match minute, Leones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javier Firmo to maneuver through the defense. Sam Bates's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aureliano Obeko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Aureliano Obeko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sam Bates, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Memphis Grizzlies's goalkeeper Pat Zamora had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Asier. Memphis Grizzlies's Pat Zamora tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 40 minutes into the match, Sam Bates notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Leones FC's Aureliano Obeko. Aureliano Obeko was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 43 minutes into the match, Sam Bates had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aureliano Obeko. Leones FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sam Bates was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martin Asier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Leones FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Amado Jordy hit a great ball. Albert Henry could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Aureliano Obeko made a huge save. 57 minutes into the game, Sam Bates cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Aureliano Obeko was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Leones FC's goalkeeper Aureliano Obeko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 64th match minute, Leones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Cisco to maneuver through the defense. Memphis Grizzlies's Ethan Smart was substituted for Sam Bates. If Hayden Sharp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leones FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Hayden Sharp scored to the left of an out of position Aureliano Obeko, making the score, 2-5. 85 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goalkeeper Aureliano Obeko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ethan Smart. In the 86th match minute, Leones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Asier to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Leones FC's Amado Jordy got a free kick in the 89th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hayden Sharp came free, but Aureliano Obeko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 95 played minutes Leones FC got a freekick which was hit by Jeremias Cisco. Memphis Grizzlies's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
