After a rather tough play, Slakun FC's Fabricio Menendo got a free kick in the 6th minute. When Mario Lleir came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Kakeros FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Lleir couldn't finish the play. 8 minutes into the game, Kakeros FC's Salvador Bernat nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luiz Fábio Castro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Salvador Bernat in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Fábio Castro saved Slakun FC from getting behind. Salvador Bernat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Luiz Fábio Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Cayetano Mendiko could shoot a difficult shot in the 19th minute, which Faustino Rencio however easily saved by the left post. After 21 minutes, Eloy Urko made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Kakeros FC's Faustino Rencio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Bernat in the 24th minute of play forced Slakun FC's goalkeeper Luiz Fábio Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Lixandro in the 26th minute of play forced Kakeros FC's goalkeeper Faustino Rencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Faustino Rencio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eloy Urko went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Faustino Rencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloy Urko in the 38th minute of play. Kakeros FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Peter Peto in the 42nd minute. Peter Peto made a great header on Kakeros FC's corner, it was just that Slakun FC's Luiz Fábio Castro managed to reach the ball for a save. Eloy Urko charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eloy Urko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cosme Lixandro kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Slakun FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Bartoli came free, but Luiz Fábio Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eloy Urko was the one to do the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Luiz Fábio Castro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 54 played minutes Slakun FC got a freekick which was hit by Winston Hidalgo. Salvador Bernat might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luiz Fábio Castro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Salvador Bernat ran back to his position shaking his head. With an all-out effort, Kakeros FC's Luiz Fábio Castro threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Salvador Bernat, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in Slakun FC's zone, Ezequiel Bartoli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Fábio Castro came out of the goal and Ezequiel Bartoli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kakeros FC's Ezequiel Bartoli got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Kakeros FC's Salvador Bernat dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Kakeros FC's Eulalio Peio was substituted for Salvador Bernat. After having played for 74 minutes, Eulalio Peio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kakeros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eulalio Peio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ezequiel Bartoli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eulalio Peio might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luiz Fábio Castro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eulalio Peio ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 84th minute, Eloy Urko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Slakun FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Slakun FC's Luiz Fábio Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eulalio Peio in the 87th minute of play. Winston Hidalgo kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Eulalio Peio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luiz Fábio Castro was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game.
