The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Milton Friedman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 5 in the game by Simon Osasun from a close distance when the talented Prudencio Ubarna managed to make a qualified save. Chuscha FC - Ψ -'s players were relieved. Prudencio Ubarna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Osasun in the 8th minute of play. Teofilo Milian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prudencio Ubarna having to interfere. The supporters of Papillon AC booed when Chuscha FC - Ψ - was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerardo Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Papillon AC's Simon Osasun in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chuscha FC - Ψ -'s goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Simon Osasun put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Prudencio Ubarna. After 18 played minutes Chuscha FC - Ψ - got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Sol. In the 21st minute Braulio Gelacio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keylor Navas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prudencio Ubarna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Osasun in the 23rd minute of play. Milton Friedman struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Prudencio Ubarna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Papillon AC. 33 minutes into the game, Mario Chan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Keylor Navas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Mario Chan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Keylor Navas was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. The supporters of Papillon AC booed when Chuscha FC - Ψ - was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnulfo Arano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerardo Romero kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erland Möllgren got free with Prudencio Ubarna in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Simon Osasun took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Prudencio Ubarna. Prudencio Ubarna dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Simon Osasun to make the kick off. Prudencio Ubarna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erland Möllgren in the 54th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Oscar Sol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute Milton Friedman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prudencio Ubarna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st match minute, Papillon AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofilo Milian to maneuver through the defense. Keylor Navas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mario Chan in the 72nd minute. Keylor Navas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Braulio Gelacio, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mario Chan got free with Keylor Navas in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aristides Sansone hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Papillon AC had won after a very even match.
