Osvaldo Potente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Genady Lagutov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubén-Darío Feldmann in the 7th minute of the match. Genady Lagutov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubén-Darío Feldmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zahar Sazanovich during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 9th minute, Zahar Sazanovich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Osvaldo Potente succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 10th playminute. Genady Lagutov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute Rubén-Darío Feldmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genady Lagutov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mechyslav Zolov kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Osvaldo Potente took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for Genady Lagutov to make any attempt to save it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alan Shearer made a kick off. Ruben Sánchez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zahar Sazanovich in the 61st minute of play. In the 64th minute, Rubén-Darío Feldmann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Magic is Back fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubén-Darío Feldmann in the 68th minute of play forced FORTALEZA's goalkeeper Genady Lagutov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Magic is Back's Gabi Batistuta in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FORTALEZA's goalie prevented a goal. In the 75th minute, Gabi Batistuta made a precise shot to the right of Genady Lagutov. FORTALEZA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Genady Lagutov came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Magic is Back's Gabi Batistuta. But to his dismay, Gabi Batistuta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. A collision led to FORTALEZA getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Timur Bandarovich hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 10-0 when Gabi Batistuta sped through FORTALEZA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Genady Lagutov. Genady Lagutov came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Magic is Back's Rubén-Darío Feldmann. But to his dismay, Rubén-Darío Feldmann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. Gabi Batistuta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Genady Lagutov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gabi Batistuta came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Magic is Back fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabi Batistuta couldn't finish the play. After 94 minutes of play, Magic is Back's Rubén-Darío Feldmann made it 12-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Genady Lagutov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Magic is Back's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
