When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonardo Medardo made a kick off. It was a well-played corner which Nelson Wright managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Adriano Ribeiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ladislao Nesto having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adriano Ribeiro got free with Ladislao Nesto in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
