An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingos Salomone in the 17th minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Aureliano Obeko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilfredo Quinto hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Martin Asier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Higinio Terciero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Asier in the 24th minute. Wilfredo Quinto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Higinio Terciero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Bizi, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Aureliano Obeko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Lorencio in the 45th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Martin Asier to make the kick off. Amado Jordy's late challenge caught a Maní FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amado Jordy helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54th match minute, Leones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amado Jordy to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes into the match, Maní FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Quinto came free, but Higinio Terciero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute, Mauro Orlondon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Wilfredo Quinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. Nicolas Bizi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilfredo Quinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Terciero having to interfere. With a little luck, Leones FC's Aureliano Obeko got control of the ball when Domingos Salomone tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maní FC were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Leones FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Domingos Salomone took the corner. The corner ended in Domingos Salomone almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Leones FC's Aureliano Obeko did a great save. Maní FC's Higinio Terciero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Asier in the 88th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Maní FC's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Asier came free, but Higinio Terciero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Wilfredo Quinto notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Maní FC's Higinio Terciero. Higinio Terciero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that Leones FC were the better team. Leones FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
