The Kwyjibo fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Kwyjibo's Hug Urquiaga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Hug Urquiaga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kwyjibo's supporters rose to their feet, but Hug Urquiaga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aureliano Obeko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 8 minutes into the match, Kwyjibo's Christian Burgo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aureliano Obeko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Javier Firmo during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 10th minute, Javier Firmo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11thth minute of the game Christian Burgo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leones FC's Aureliano Obeko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Martin Asier who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Sylwester Wawro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 14th minute, Hug Urquiaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Christian Burgo came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Kwyjibo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Burgo couldn't finish the play. Christian Burgo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aureliano Obeko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Aureliano Obeko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hug Urquiaga in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Christian Burgo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Aureliano Obeko was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Christian Burgo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aureliano Obeko was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Kwyjibo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sven McNamara in the 34th minute. After a rather tough play, Kwyjibo's Hug Urquiaga got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute, Amado Jordy fired a really elegant long shot, but Sylwester Wawro threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Aureliano Obeko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christian Burgo went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After 47 played minutes Kwyjibo got a freekick which was hit by Etxepare Angostina. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.
When Christian Burgo came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Kwyjibo fans jumped to their feet. Gavino Oliveiro's late challenge caught a Kwyjibo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The shot was a little too simple and Aureliano Obeko could save by the left post. In the 56th minute, Christian Burgo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kwyjibo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Kwyjibo's 高宇川 was substituted for Hug Urquiaga. After some careless play in the Leones FC defense, Christian Burgo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aureliano Obeko. The Leones FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aureliano Obeko should have stopped the shot. Christian Burgo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aureliano Obeko having to make a save. In the 65th minute Christian Burgo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliano Obeko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 高宇川's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aureliano Obeko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. The supporters of Leones FC booed when Kwyjibo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. 高宇川 didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th match minute, Kwyjibo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urbes Seseña to maneuver through the defense. Sylwester Wawro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Quinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Christian Burgo made a precise shot to the right of Aureliano Obeko. Leones FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. Kwyjibo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
