Valentin Policarpio scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Genady Lagutov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to FORTALEZA getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Staneslav Sobolev hit a great ball. After 17 minutes, Alfonso Soprano made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. FORTALEZA's Genady Lagutov tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Genady Lagutov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Fagondo in the 20th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Venceslao in the 25th minute of play forced FORTALEZA's goalkeeper Genady Lagutov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, NECKER49's Timoteo Maldonado got control of the ball when Alan Shearer tried to sneak it across the goal line. FORTALEZA's Genady Lagutov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Fagondo in the 30th minute of play. After some careless play in the FORTALEZA defense, Alfonso Soprano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Genady Lagutov. The FORTALEZA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Genady Lagutov should have stopped the shot. 42 minutes into the game, NECKER49's Isidoro Fagondo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Genady Lagutov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Genady Lagutov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Policarpio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Genady Lagutov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Policarpio, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isidoro Fagondo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Genady Lagutov came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by NECKER49's Isidoro Fagondo. But to his dismay, Isidoro Fagondo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Valentin Policarpio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Genady Lagutov made a huge save. 55 minutes into the game, NECKER49's Valentin Policarpio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Genady Lagutov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Venceslao in the 58th minute of play forced FORTALEZA's goalkeeper Genady Lagutov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute, Zahar Sazanovich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute, Valentin Policarpio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NECKER49 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. 66 minutes into the match, Valentin Policarpio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Genady Lagutov. FORTALEZA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valentin Policarpio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-10. In the 73rd match minute, FORTALEZA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Shearer to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Fernado in the 79th minute of play forced FORTALEZA's goalkeeper Genady Lagutov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidoro Fagondo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Isidoro Fagondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, FORTALEZA's goalkeeper Genady Lagutov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eusebio Venceslao. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Fagondo in the 87th minute of play forced FORTALEZA's goalkeeper Genady Lagutov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mechyslav Zolov kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Lino Fernado put it in 0-12 from a short distance just to the right of Genady Lagutov. Alfonso Sopranos short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Genady Lagutov to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lino Fernado got free with Genady Lagutov in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Genady Lagutov was a little too slow when Isidoro Fagondo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 0-13.
