Teodosio Orkatz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enrico Schmedes went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Boulogne F.C.'s Teodosio Orkatz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrico Schmedes in the 20th minute of play. In the 24th minute Igor Elizardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mark Flecken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adam Lischka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 27th minute Adam Lischka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodosio Orkatz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teodosio Orkatz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enrico Schmedes in the 28th minute. Enrico Schmedess short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Teodosio Orkatz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Teodosio Orkatz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolland Sallai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mark Flecken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Medardo in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Rolland Sallai reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Teodosio Orkatz. The goal made the score 2-0. With a little luck, Boulogne F.C.'s Teodosio Orkatz got control of the ball when Enrico Schmedes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Enrico Schmedes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Teodosio Orkatz made a huge save. 43 minutes into the match, Enrico Schmedes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teodosio Orkatz. Boulogne F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enrico Schmedes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonardo Medardo to make the kick off. In the 50th minute, Terry Kunzmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Mark Flecken got control of the ball when Igor Elizardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 54thth minute of the game Enrico Schmedes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boulogne F.C.'s Teodosio Orkatz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Teodosio Orkatz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrico Schmedes, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Teodosio Orkatz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolland Sallai in the 61st minute of play. When Terry Kunzmann fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s protests and gave Terry Kunzmann a yellow card for diving instead. Terry Kunzmann kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Mark Flecken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Medardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute.
