After a rather tough play, Elderslie Magpies's Rob Quinnell got a free kick in the 18th minute. Corder Clubley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flaco López, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Flaco López managed to get in a good position for a shot. JFSP's supporters rose to their feet, but Flaco López was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Corder Clubley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Flaco López's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Corder Clubley read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Flaco López had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Corder Clubley. Elderslie Magpies's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Flaco López was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Flaco López in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Corder Clubley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Võ Gozali showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kenneth Limmer in the 31st minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Flaco López had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Corder Clubley. Elderslie Magpies's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Flaco López was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After the first half JFSP were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pietro Sales to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Flaco López reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Corder Clubley. The goal made the score 0-5. 64 minutes into the game, Flaco López cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Corder Clubley was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Flaco López had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elderslie Magpies's Corder Clubley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Elderslie Magpies from getting a goal against them. Corder Clubley didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Flaco López went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Elderslie Magpies's zone, Flaco López stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Corder Clubley came out of the goal and Flaco López tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. JFSP made a substitution. Denílson Massa replaced Flaco López. In the 82nd minute, Denílson Massa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Corder Clubley. The goal made the score 0-9. Pietro Sales kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Elderslie Magpies's Corder Clubley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Elderslie Magpies from getting a goal against them. After 92 minutes of play, JFSP's Pietro Sales made it 0-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Corder Clubley was left in no man's land by his defense there! Corder Clubley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denílson Massa in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded JFSP left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Elderslie Magpies.
