Zacarias Escobar's late challenge caught a Al-Fajuth's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The supporters of Regresado booed when Al-Fajuth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Léo Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Osvaldo Tomi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 33 minutes into the game, Célio Albuquerque cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eliseu Alagoano was the one to do the kick off.
