Babbis Zervoudakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joos De Middeleer in the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michalis Bakakos in the 24th minute of play forced Winksele 2016's goalkeeper Sem Severens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Winksele 2016's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Panagiotis Nikolakoglou was slow to take the kick. During this time ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's players had a chance to rest. The wind increased when Claude Van Dijck made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michalis Bakakos got free with Sem Severens in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Michalis Bakakos kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. A collision led to ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Michalis Bakakos hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Winksele 2016's Martin Marichal got a free kick in the 61st minute. Dimosthenis Tsogas kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Joos De Middeleer's late challenge caught a ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The supporters of ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ booed when Winksele 2016 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michel Dauwe didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Panagiotis Nikolakoglou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sem Severens made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Marinos Kouklakis sent off a good shot on target. Sem Severens made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michalis Bakakos in the 92nd minute. The Winksele 2016 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
