Maicon Zanette was slow to take the kick. During this time Al-Fajuth's players had a chance to rest. At last the ball reached Célio Albuquerque at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Pombal 2003 F.C.. 0-3. In the 33rd minute Eliseu Alagoano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilson Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Duarte Pontes could shoot a difficult shot in the 36th minute, which Édouard Mendy however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino da Cunha in the 37th minute of play forced Pombal 2003 F.C.'s goalkeeper Gilson Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliseu Alagoano succeeded in the game's 47th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.
