After 7 played minutes Winksele 2016 got a freekick which was hit by Corneel Taverniers. JFSP's Maurício Pires quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jannis Preuveneer, made in the 9th minute of the game. Winksele 2016's Sem Severens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flaco López in the 11th minute of play. Flaco López struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Sem Severens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JFSP. In the 25th minute Flaco López shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sem Severens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michel Dauwe's late challenge caught a JFSP's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michel Dauwe helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Eduardo Montenegro in the 27th minute of play forced Winksele 2016's goalkeeper Sem Severens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st match minute, Winksele 2016 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jannis Preuveneer to maneuver through the defense. Sem Severens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flaco López, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flaco López's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sem Severens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. In the 36thth minute of the game Flaco López who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Winksele 2016's Sem Severens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 39 minutes into the match, JFSP's Flaco López sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sem Severens narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Winksele 2016's zone, Flaco López stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sem Severens came out of the goal and Flaco López tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Winksele 2016 getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Jannis Preuveneer hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the game, one of Winksele 2016:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Joos De Middeleer made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Flaco López managed to get in a good position for a shot. JFSP's supporters rose to their feet, but Flaco López was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sem Severens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Flaco López sped through Winksele 2016's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sem Severens. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flaco López in the 62nd minute of play forced Winksele 2016's goalkeeper Sem Severens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Winksele 2016's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Pietro Sales scored to the left of an out of position Sem Severens, making the score, 0-4. In the 72nd minute, Flaco López left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JFSP fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. 78 minutes into the match, Flaco López notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Winksele 2016's Sem Severens. Sem Severens was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 87th minute, Denílson Massa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Denílson Massa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sem Severens came out and tried to block the shot, but Denílson Massa slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 88th minute. With a little luck, Winksele 2016's Sem Severens got control of the ball when Pietro Sales tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pietro Sales's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sem Severens firmly grabbed it by the left post. Denílson Massa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denílson Massa got free with Sem Severens in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. JFSP played a much better game than Winksele 2016 and deserved their victory. The Winksele 2016 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
