The Al-Fajuth fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Al-Fajuth's Eliseu Alagoano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Al-Fajuth's Célio Albuquerque got a free kick in the 77th minute. But to his dismay, Eliseu Alagoano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amadeu Furlan during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of De Ontembare Leeuwen booed when Al-Fajuth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. The crowd rose to their feet as Al-Fajuth's Eliseu Alagoano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dave Otten. That made the score 1-6 after 93 minutes of play. The supporters of De Ontembare Leeuwen booed when Al-Fajuth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseu Alagoano didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Al-Fajuth had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
