Wilfredo Mikelar came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Sarmiento de Resistencia's Froilan Sarmiento. But to his dismay, Froilan Sarmiento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Filomeno Tirso came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Torbellino's Adan Veto. But to his dismay, Adan Veto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Sarmiento de Resistencia's Filomeno Tirso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Veto in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Adan Veto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Torbellino fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 17 minutes into the game, Torbellino's Gaston Aztore nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Filomeno Tirso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. A collision led to Sarmiento de Resistencia getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Froilan Sarmiento hit a great ball. Froilan Sarmiento blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilfredo Mikelar having to make a save. 28 minutes into the match, Sarmiento de Resistencia's goal looked a bit too open when Adan Veto came free, but Filomeno Tirso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Prudencio Bernat struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Filomeno Tirso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Torbellino. In the 34th match minute, Torbellino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliciano Justin to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Sarmiento in the 45th minute of play forced Torbellino's goalkeeper Wilfredo Mikelar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esteve Fix hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute, Ovidio Lucian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Adan Veto made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Ulises Bitxintxo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wilfredo Mikelar. Ulises Bitxintxo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. Wilfredo Mikelar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cesar Lekubegi in the 57th minute. In the 58th match minute, Torbellino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidio Lucian to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Torbellino's goalkeeper Wilfredo Mikelar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, Torbellino's goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Bitxintxo came free, but Wilfredo Mikelar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilfredo Mikelar made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Froilan Sarmiento sent off a good shot on target. In the 67th minute Ulises Bitxintxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfredo Mikelar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Sarmiento de Resistencia's zone, Joel Cordaryal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filomeno Tirso came out of the goal and Joel Cordaryal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wilfredo Mikelar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Froilan Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 74 minutes, Gabriel Cebo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sarmiento de Resistencia and the Torbellino players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sarmiento de Resistencia getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Gabriel Cebo hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the match, Froilan Sarmiento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilfredo Mikelar. Torbellino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Froilan Sarmiento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Esteve Fix charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Esteve Fix the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Torbellino booed when Sarmiento de Resistencia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteve Fix didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilfredo Mikelar made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Ulises Bitxintxo sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th minute, Gaston Aztore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Braulio Ourente took a quick shot and it went in 3-4 without a chance for Wilfredo Mikelar to make any attempt to save it. When the match was over Sarmiento de Resistencia could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Torbellino throughout the match.
