After 41 played minutes Buksvinens IF got a freekick which was hit by Ami Ambjörnsson. Luiz Fernando Baiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ami Ambjörnsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Compostela FSCMZ's Evandro Bastos was substituted for Alfredo Mandrak. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ami Ambjörnsson to make the kick off. Compostela FSCMZ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
