Emil Arendarski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio Rocks in the 3rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Zecku's Petre Encuțescu got control of the ball when Mauro Silvino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mariano Orlo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Petre Encuțescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Petre Encuțescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karol Borowski's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Emil Arendarski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Rocks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Zecku's goalkeeper Petre Encuțescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Petre Encuțescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karol Borowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After 26 played minutes Zecku got a freekick which was hit by David Miliano. Emil Arendarski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Pudes in the 29th minute of play. Zecku's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Karol Borowski scored to the left of an out of position Petre Encuțescu, making the score, 1-0. Karol Borowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Petre Encuțescu made a huge save. Emil Arendarski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Rocks in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Vaz in the 37th minute of play forced C. A. Potrero's goalkeeper Emil Arendarski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Petre Encuțescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karol Borowski in the 44th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivor Peake got free with Emil Arendarski in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th minute, Karol Borowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Petre Encuțescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karol Borowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Petre Encuțescu came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by C. A. Potrero's Karol Borowski. But to his dismay, Karol Borowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Ivor Peake could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Emil Arendarski made a huge save. C. A. Potrero made a substitution. Wladyslaw Popowicz replaced Pastor Montrell. 70 minutes into the game, one of Zecku:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. David Miliano hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute Karol Borowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petre Encuțescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C. A. Potrero's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Jairo Sidro scored to the left of an out of position Emil Arendarski, making the score, 3-1.
