When Larry von Stetten fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SV Bad Harzburg's protests and gave Larry von Stetten a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th match minute, SV Bad Harzburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Rintzel to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, SV Bad Harzburg's Tim Wiese got control of the ball when Gaspar Magdaleno tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rocky Balboa to strike the kick off in the second half. Generoso Michael blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tim Wiese having to make a save. A nice corner shot did that Maximo Cutberto got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tim Wiese quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, SV Bad Harzburg's Marc Richter got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 65th minute Eulalio Vincent shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tim Wiese saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 94 played minutes, Galáctico Azul FC™'s Alfredo Xabel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tim Wiese came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Galáctico Azul FC™ reached it. For all the effort they put into the match, the SV Bad Harzburg players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Galáctico Azul FC™.
