No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Esteve Fix managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarmiento de Resistencia's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteve Fix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. A wasted opportunity for Sarmiento de Resistencia. In the 84th minute, BICHO neuquino's Laureano Panpili seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Laureano Panpili the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of BICHO neuquino protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Laureano Panpili had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in BICHO neuquino fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 84th minute. Penalty! After a defensive mix-up in BICHO neuquino's zone, Siro Elazar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roque Manni came out of the goal and Siro Elazar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The BICHO neuquino fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sarmiento de Resistencia were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
