Eulalio Vincent started the match with the kick off. Filomeno Tirso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eulalio Vincent in the 6th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edelmiro Derwin during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 17 played minutes Galáctico Azul FC™ got a freekick which was hit by Edelmiro Derwin. Braulio Ourente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Belasko having to interfere. The supporters of Sarmiento de Resistencia booed when Galáctico Azul FC™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siro Rainerio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st match minute, Sarmiento de Resistencia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Froilan Sarmiento to maneuver through the defense. Filomeno Tirso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erasmo Celino, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Gaspar Magdaleno kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Galáctico Azul FC™ were furious when Alfredo Xabel was red carded, 30 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of Sarmiento de Resistencia booed when Galáctico Azul FC™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Xabel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sarmiento de Resistencia's Cesar Sarmiento shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 31st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Enrique Belasko but with some difficulty. In the 33rd minute Eulalio Vincent shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Tirso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Generoso Michael recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute Eulalio Vincent shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Tirso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eulalio Vincent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Filomeno Tirso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cesar Lekubegi charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cesar Lekubegi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Galáctico Azul FC™ booed when Sarmiento de Resistencia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesar Lekubegi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Eulalio Vincent managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galáctico Azul FC™'s supporters rose to their feet, but Eulalio Vincent was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filomeno Tirso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When Victor Bernabel fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galáctico Azul FC™'s protests and gave Victor Bernabel a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Galáctico Azul FC™ getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Victor Bernabel hit a great ball. Gaspar Magdaleno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Galáctico Azul FC™ made a substitution. Casimiro Ellande replaced Gaspar Magdaleno. After 69 played minutes Eulalio Vincent rounded Sarmiento de Resistencia's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Siro Rainerio got free with Filomeno Tirso in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Enrique Belasko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ulises Bitxintxo went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 80th minute, Generoso Michael reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Filomeno Tirso. The goal made the score 1-3. After 85 minutes of play, Galáctico Azul FC™'s Eulalio Vincent made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filomeno Tirso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Enrique Belasko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Froilan Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Casimiro Ellande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Galáctico Azul FC™ getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Eulalio Vincent hit a great ball. Galáctico Azul FC™'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
