In the 16thth minute of the game Nicolae Siclovan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ornitorrincos F.C.'s Valentín Bello was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 17th match minute, Ornitorrincos F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingo Vivero to maneuver through the defense. When Frederico de Lima fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cachaça FC's protests and gave Frederico de Lima a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th minute, Frederico de Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luís Nóbrega was extremely unlucky when he, in the 20th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a defensive mix-up in Ornitorrincos F.C.'s zone, Nicolae Siclovan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valentín Bello came out of the goal and Nicolae Siclovan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ornitorrincos F.C.'s Valentín Bello proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Ornitorrincos F.C. from getting a goal against them. Frederico de Lima succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 29th playminute. The audience was convinced that Natã Cardoso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valentín Bello was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolae Siclovan in the 37th minute of play forced Ornitorrincos F.C.'s goalkeeper Valentín Bello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cachaça FC's Cássio da Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaume Jarabran in the 51st minute of play. Luís Nóbrega hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 56 minutes into the game, Cachaça FC's Nicolae Siclovan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valentín Bello made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. 59 minutes into the game, Alipio Garbiso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ornitorrincos F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cachaça FC the free kick. Alipio Garbiso hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Luís Nóbrega recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Nicolae Siclovan put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Valentín Bello. In the 67th minute, Nicolae Siclovan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valentín Bello was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Nicolae Siclovan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Valentín Bello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederico de Lima in the 77th minute of play forced Ornitorrincos F.C.'s goalkeeper Valentín Bello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Luís Nóbrega managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cachaça FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Nóbrega was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valentín Bello breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Natã Cardoso took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valentín Bello. Valentín Bello dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. 83 minutes into the match, Nicolae Siclovan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valentín Bello. Ornitorrincos F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicolae Siclovan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. If Natã Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Nicolae Siclovan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valentín Bello was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game.
