In the 39th minute, Cachaça FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jarbas Bittencourt fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Baltazar Diniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolae Siclovan in the 42nd minute of the match. 48 minutes into the match, Diamonds FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolae Siclovan came free, but Baltazar Diniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 64th minute Nicolae Siclovan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltazar Diniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Diamonds FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Jarbas Bittencourt hit a great ball. In the 67th minute, Jeremias Mendonça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Natã Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolae Siclovan in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baltazar Diniz saved Diamonds FC from getting behind. Diamonds FC's Baltazar Diniz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Diamonds FC from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 78 minutes, Baltazar Diniz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 79 minutes into the match, Diamonds FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolae Siclovan came free, but Baltazar Diniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Diamonds FC.
