The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Emanuel Ferran struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Gabriel Porfiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alcatraz F.C. In the 5th minute of the match, Jan Hendrik Busch tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tiberiu Ghizdeanu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Tiberiu Ghizdeanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Vázquez in the 21st minute of play. After 23 minutes of play, Luganeros AFC's Luis Vázquez made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiberiu Ghizdeanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tiberiu Ghizdeanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Vázquez in the 29th minute of play. A hard shot by Raphael da Silveira from long distance, 36 minutes into the match, got Tiberiu Ghizdeanu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The supporters of Luganeros AFC booed when Alcatraz F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Beila didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the game, Luis Vázquez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tiberiu Ghizdeanu. Luis Vázquez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0.

Alcatraz F.C's Silvano Orlan was substituted for Emanuel Ferran. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luis Vázquez to make the kick off. Tiberiu Ghizdeanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Vázquez in the 57th minute of the match. In the 61st match minute, Alcatraz F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvano Orlan to maneuver through the defense. Tiberiu Ghizdeanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Vázquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiberiu Ghizdeanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Vázquez in the 66th minute of the match. In the 70th minute Luis Vázquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiberiu Ghizdeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luganeros AFC made a substitution. Rey Ronaldo replaced Luis Vázquez. In the 91st minute Yu Quan Di shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiberiu Ghizdeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the game, Luganeros AFC's Rey Ronaldo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tiberiu Ghizdeanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Luganeros AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
