Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luis Vázquez in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Torsten Björnsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 5th minute of the match Luganeros AFC got a corner. Stockholm Generals's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Raphael da Silveira ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Luganeros AFC's corner Raphael da Silveira fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Torsten Björnsson quite easily take care of the ball. Luganeros AFC's Luis Vázquez got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 10 minutes into the match, Luganeros AFC's Luis Vázquez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Torsten Björnsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luis Vázquez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Torsten Björnsson made a huge save. Torsten Björnsson came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Luganeros AFC's Luis Vázquez. But to his dismay, Luis Vázquez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Stockholm Generals's zone, Luis Vázquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torsten Björnsson came out of the goal and Luis Vázquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stockholm Generals's Torsten Björnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Vázquez in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Stockholm Generals's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Raphael da Silveira was slow to take the kick. During this time Luganeros AFC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Luganeros AFC's corner Raphael da Silveira fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Torsten Björnsson quite easily take care of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luisito Urtzi got free with Torsten Björnsson in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Milan Pavlovský fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Porfiro having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Luganeros AFC's Luis Vázquez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Torsten Björnsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 31 minutes into the match, Luis Vázquez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Torsten Björnsson. Stockholm Generals's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Vázquez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 34th minute, Luis Vázquez made a precise shot to the right of Torsten Björnsson. Stockholm Generals's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Rafael Muñana's late challenge caught a Luganeros AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafael Muñana helped the player get up and apologised. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Milan Pavlovský stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Cesar Restu came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Luganeros AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cesar Restu couldn't finish the play. After having played for 57 minutes, Luis Vázquez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luganeros AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Vázquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Luis Vázquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Torsten Björnsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Vázquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sören Lindqvist during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th match minute, Stockholm Generals was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sören Lindqvist to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the game, Luis Vázquez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Torsten Björnsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Torsten Björnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yu Quan Di in the 71st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Yu Quan Di's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Torsten Björnsson was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by Stockholm Generals's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rey Ronaldo made a great header on Luganeros AFC's corner, it was just that Stockholm Generals's Torsten Björnsson managed to reach the ball for a save. With a little luck, Luganeros AFC's Gabriel Porfiro got control of the ball when Milan Pavlovský tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yu Quan Di might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Torsten Björnsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yu Quan Di ran back to his position shaking his head. After 95th play minutes Yu Quan Di shot 6-0, a short shot which went by Torsten Björnsson and just under the crossbar into goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Luganeros AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Stockholm Generals had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
