Gladiadores's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Diamonds FC the free kick. In the 95th minute, Gabrie-Alejandro Maldini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gladiadores played a much better game than Diamonds FC and deserved their victory. The Diamonds FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
