Alcatraz F.C's Emanuel Ferran got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sebastião Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Mantzio, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Emanuel Ferran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sebastião Salgado having to make a save. If Nacer Khlifi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastião Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Ferran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaspar Mantzio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Gaspar Mantzio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiberiu Ghizdeanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nacer Khlifi in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute Gaspar Mantzio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Marrakech FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Cássio Proença hit a great ball. Sebastião Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Ferran in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Alcatraz F.C were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abdellatif Benkhirane made a kick off. In the 58th match minute, Marrakech FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Misael Diaz to maneuver through the defense. Silvano Orlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sebastião Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvano Orlan, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Silvano Orlan might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebastião Salgado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silvano Orlan ran back to his position shaking his head. If Silvano Orlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvano Orlan in the 64th minute of play forced Marrakech FC's goalkeeper Sebastião Salgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Alcatraz F.C booed when Marrakech FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ziyad Khlifi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute, Marrakech FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Silvano Orlan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 85 minutes, Silvano Orlan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alcatraz F.C and the Marrakech FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 85 played minutes Alcatraz F.C got a freekick which was hit by Silvano Orlan. Marrakech FC's Sebastião Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Kusko in the 89th minute of play. Abdellatif Benkhirane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvano Orlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastião Salgado having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Alcatraz F.C eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
