But to his dismay, Victor Paskal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Jaime Frechoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the match, Alcatraz F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Salbatore came free, but Tiberiu Ghizdeanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Emanuel Ferran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Duarte de Sena was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Emanuel Ferran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Duarte de Sena having to make a save. Club Atlético Ituzaingó's Duarte de Sena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Ituzaingó from getting a goal against them. In the 26th minute, Victor Paskal made a precise shot to the right of Tiberiu Ghizdeanu. Alcatraz F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Club Atlético Ituzaingó's Duarte de Sena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Ituzaingó from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Banga in the 33rd minute of play forced Alcatraz F.C's goalkeeper Tiberiu Ghizdeanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th match minute, Club Atlético Ituzaingó was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Truylos to maneuver through the defense. Bartolo Boni's late challenge caught a Alcatraz F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bartolo Boni helped the player get up and apologised. After 43 played minutes Club Atlético Ituzaingó got a freekick which was hit by Bartolo Boni. In the 46th match minute, Club Atlético Ituzaingó was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Paskal to maneuver through the defense. Alcatraz F.C made a substitution. Silvano Orlan replaced Emanuel Ferran. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Silvano Orlan made the kick off in the second half. Duarte de Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvano Orlan, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Duarte de Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvano Orlan in the 73rd minute of play. The supporters of Club Atlético Ituzaingó booed when Alcatraz F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Beila didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvano Orlan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Duarte de Sena having to make a save. In the 83rd minute Silvano Orlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte de Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alcatraz F.C's Tiberiu Ghizdeanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Alcatraz F.C from getting a goal against them. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alcatraz F.C's goalkeeper Tiberiu Ghizdeanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Club Atlético Ituzaingó's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
