The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ferrer Arias came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Diamonds FC's João Pedro Brito. But to his dismay, João Pedro Brito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Hipolito Goi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 12 played minutes QUASAR AZULGRANA got a freekick which was hit by Cayetano Mon. The supporters of Diamonds FC booed when QUASAR AZULGRANA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teobaldo Pelayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferrer Arias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Pedro Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute Emiliano Orlondon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Muc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Diamonds FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Orlondon came free, but Marcos Muc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferrer Arias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fellipe Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Marcos Muc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Orlondon in the 34th minute of the match. After 38 minutes, Aaron Etxekopar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the QUASAR AZULGRANA and the Diamonds FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th minute, Aaron Etxekopar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Muc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hipolito Goi, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After 43 played minutes Diamonds FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Marquez. 44 minutes into the match, QUASAR AZULGRANA's Hipolito Goi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcos Muc narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ferrer Arias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Pedro Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Afonsinho Costa was the one to do the kick off. If Ambrosio Manex had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcos Muc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ambrosio Manex in the 63rd minute. In the 66th minute, Cayetano Mon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emiliano Orlondon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ambrosio Manex came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the QUASAR AZULGRANA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ambrosio Manex couldn't finish the play. In the 81st minute Allan Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferrer Arias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipe Weather hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Hipolito Goi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Marcos Muc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes in the game, Hipolito Goi fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Marcos Muc having to interfere. Oswaldo Ortiz took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ferrer Arias. Ferrer Arias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0.
