An unexpectedly hard shot by João Pedro Brito in the 12th minute of play forced Brazil Academy's goalkeeper Paulo José de Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Brazil Academy's Paulo José de Sena got control of the ball when Jarbas Bittencourt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcos Muc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franklin Linhares in the 14th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Diamonds FC's João Pedro Brito ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Paulo José de Sena. Paulo José de Sena yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 23rd minute Brazil Academy were awarded a corner. Rodolfo Souto went to the cornerflag to take it. Rodolfo Souto made a great header on Brazil Academy's corner, it was just that Diamonds FC's Marcos Muc managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franklin Linhares in the 25th minute of play forced Diamonds FC's goalkeeper Marcos Muc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Jarbas Bittencourt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulo José de Sena was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 31 minutes into the match, Diamonds FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lúcio Munhoz came free, but Marcos Muc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Afonsinho Costa scored 3-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo José de Sena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Diamonds FC's Fellipe Santana got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Ernesto Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the game, Brazil Academy's Roberto-Carlos Neymar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Muc made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1.

João Pedro Brito hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Lúcio Munhoz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcos Muc was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Marcos Muc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franklin Linhares in the 66th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Roberto-Carlos Neymar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diamonds FC's João Pedro Brito got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. João Pedro Brito might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo José de Sena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. João Pedro Brito ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 72nd match minute, Brazil Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oswaldo Guimarães to maneuver through the defense. When Jarbas Bittencourt came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Diamonds FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jarbas Bittencourt couldn't finish the play. José Vítor Prata hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Diamonds FC's zone, Lúcio Munhoz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Muc came out of the goal and Lúcio Munhoz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Fellipe Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brazil Academy's goalkeeper Paulo José de Sena, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 87 minutes into the game, Roberto-Carlos Neymar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcos Muc. Roberto-Carlos Neymar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-2. After 90th play minutes Afonsinho Costa shot 5-2, a short shot which went by Paulo José de Sena and just under the crossbar into goal. 93 minutes into the match, Diamonds FC's goal looked a bit too open when Franklin Linhares came free, but Marcos Muc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diamonds FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Brazil Academy for a fine match.
