Paulo José de Sena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 9 minutes into the game, Saul Salgado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nubecitas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brazil Academy the free kick. When Lúcio Munhoz came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Brazil Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lúcio Munhoz couldn't finish the play. Paulo José de Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Salgado in the 23rd minute of the match. Brazil Academy's Paulo José de Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Campos in the 24th minute of play. Franklin Linhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbasa Ribas having to interfere. Urbasa Ribas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lúcio Munhoz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Natalio Durango sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39thth minute of the game Lúcio Munhoz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nubecitas FC's Urbasa Ribas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nubecitas FC's Urbasa Ribas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franklin Linhares in the 40th minute of play. Urbasa Ribas made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Lúcio Munhoz sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Franklin Linhares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brazil Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Franklin Linhares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Urbasa Ribas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Natalio Durango was the one to do the kick off. Urbasa Ribas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franklin Linhares, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Urbasa Ribas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franklin Linhares in the 54th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Lúcio Munhoz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Urbasa Ribas was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. The Nubecitas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Urbasa Ribas should have stopped the shot. In the 76th minute Franklin Linhares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urbasa Ribas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafinha de Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Urbasa Ribas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the game, Lúcio Munhoz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-2. Urbasa Ribas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 87 minutes into the game, Brazil Academy's Lúcio Munhoz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Urbasa Ribas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-2. In the 89th minute Rodolfo Souto suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerardo Campos during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gerardo Campos kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Roberto-Carlos Neymar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Urbasa Ribas was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-2. Franklin Linhares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Brazil Academy fans cheered their team off the field, for while Nubecitas FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
