In the 20th minute, Abdul Rahman Al Youha reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ferrer Arias. The goal made the score 1-1. Mohammad Al Ateqi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Lorenz in the 24th minute of play. If Khalefa Al Hadad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mohammad Al Ateqi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hipolito Goi in the 27th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, QUASAR AZULGRANA's goal looked a bit too open when Khalefa Al Homaithe came free, but Ferrer Arias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Golden Tigers defense, Clodoveo Guillelmus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mohammad Al Ateqi. The Golden Tigers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mohammad Al Ateqi should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, QUASAR AZULGRANA's Ferrer Arias got control of the ball when Khalefa Al Hadad tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mohammad Al Ateqi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariel Lorenz in the 46th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
