An unexpectedly hard shot by Stathis Livathinos in the 18th minute of play forced Diamonds FC's goalkeeper Marcos Muc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diamonds FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lucas Paquette to make the kick off. Marcos Muc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Koulis Kouloucheris in the 56th minute of the match. When Jarbas Bittencourt came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Diamonds FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jarbas Bittencourt couldn't finish the play. In the 80th match minute, Kerkyra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grigoris Kalabosis to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Diamonds FC booed when Kerkyra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anastasios Kazatzidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute Allan Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alisson Becker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kerkyra FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
