In the 15th minute, one of Dragones Celestes:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dragones Celestes. Estevan Valdovinos had in the 17thth minute some difficulties stopping Jarbas Bittencourt's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Diamonds FC's Jarbas Bittencourt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Estevan Valdovinos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Marcos Muc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leopoldo Besa in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Dragones Celestes's goal looked a bit too open when Jarbas Bittencourt came free, but Estevan Valdovinos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diamonds FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
