After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Bernardo Salbatore managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Ituzaingó's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Salbatore was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pierre-Alexandre von Buol-Schaudenstein breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. C.A.River Plate's Pierre-Alexandre von Buol-Schaudenstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolo Boni in the 8th minute of play. Duarte de Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ekhi Arandajo in the 13th minute of the match. Club Atlético Ituzaingó's Victor Paskal got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Victor Paskal hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Duarte de Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sun Shi Xi in the 17th minute of play. Bernardo Salbatores short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Pierre-Alexandre von Buol-Schaudenstein to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 20thth minute of the game Victor Paskal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A.River Plate's Pierre-Alexandre von Buol-Schaudenstein was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Club Atlético Ituzaingó's Victor Paskal managed to work through C.A.River Plate's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Victor Paskal dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Pierre-Alexandre von Buol-Schaudenstein successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The corner led to Club Atlético Ituzaingó's Clodoveo Sugoi getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. With a little luck, C.A.River Plate's Pierre-Alexandre von Buol-Schaudenstein got control of the ball when Bernardo Salbatore tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 37th match minute, C.A.River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matai Aranzabal to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute of the match Club Atlético Ituzaingó got a corner. C.A.River Plate's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jaime Frechoso ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Club Atlético Ituzaingó's Victor Paskal to fire away a dangerous shot which Pierre-Alexandre von Buol-Schaudenstein despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 40 minutes of play, Club Atlético Ituzaingó's Victor Paskal made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pierre-Alexandre von Buol-Schaudenstein was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to C.A.River Plate getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Matai Aranzabal hit a great ball. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A.River Plate's goalkeeper Pierre-Alexandre von Buol-Schaudenstein, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victor Paskal to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardo Salbatore in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pierre-Alexandre von Buol-Schaudenstein saved C.A.River Plate from getting behind. A collision led to C.A.River Plate getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Matai Aranzabal hit a great ball. After 59 minutes, Matai Aranzabal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A.River Plate and the Club Atlético Ituzaingó players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Club Atlético Ituzaingó booed when C.A.River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matai Aranzabal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sun Shi Xi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Duarte de Sena having to make a save. In the 64th minute Sun Shi Xi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte de Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Ituzaingó's goal looked a bit too open when Sun Shi Xi came free, but Duarte de Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Duarte de Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sun Shi Xi in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute of the match, Matai Aranzabal tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Duarte de Sena saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Pierre-Alexandre von Buol-Schaudenstein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clodoveo Sugoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Duarte de Sena made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Matai Aranzabal sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matai Aranzabal got free with Duarte de Sena in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sun Shi Xi in the 83rd minute of play forced Club Atlético Ituzaingó's goalkeeper Duarte de Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the game, Club Atlético Ituzaingó's Clodoveo Sugoi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pierre-Alexandre von Buol-Schaudenstein made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Club Atlético Ituzaingó's Paolo Marino was substituted for Victor Paskal. In the 97th minute, Lu Yin Xi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Atlético Ituzaingó were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
