The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6thth minute of the game Renaut De Geyter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caatiba MZC's Ergo Muro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Renaut De Geyter in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ergo Muro saved Caatiba MZC from getting behind. Niceto Ihazintu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Yannis Specht skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Niceto Ihazintu put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Yannis Specht. 16 minutes into the match, Limitless Delux Edition™'s goalkeeper Yannis Specht had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niceto Ihazintu. Niceto Ihazintu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Yannis Specht made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Niceto Ihazintu sent off a good shot on target. Ergo Muro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ringo Rau, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Ergo Muro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horea Savin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Caatiba MZC's Niceto Ihazintu in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 28th minute Ringo Rau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ergo Muro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Limitless Delux Edition™'s Yannis Specht proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Limitless Delux Edition™ from getting a goal against them. Niceto Ihazintu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Caatiba MZC's Miguel Lizer got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Limitless Delux Edition™'s goalkeeper Yannis Specht, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 40th minute Ringo Rau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ergo Muro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yannis Specht was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Niceto Ihazintu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Niceto Ihazintu really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Valdomiro Ortiz hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After a long run with the ball, Mark Dewulf did a trick in the 49th minute in front of Caatiba MZC's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 4-1. An impressive performance by Limitless Delux Edition™'s Mark Dewulf! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Niceto Ihazintu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Niceto Ihazintu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caatiba MZC's supporters rose to their feet, but Niceto Ihazintu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yannis Specht breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 61st match minute, Limitless Delux Edition™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilijano Mpenza to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 62 minutes, Niceto Ihazintu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caatiba MZC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niceto Ihazintu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yannis Specht took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niceto Ihazintu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute, Emilijano Mpenza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Ihazintu in the 67th minute of play forced Limitless Delux Edition™'s goalkeeper Yannis Specht to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Limitless Delux Edition™'s Yannis Specht played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niceto Ihazintu in the 69th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Niceto Ihazintu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yannis Specht was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niceto Ihazintu in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yannis Specht prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Niceto Ihazintu might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yannis Specht. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niceto Ihazintu ran back to his position shaking his head. Yannis Specht made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Ihazintu in the 71st minute of play. Limitless Delux Edition™'s Gabri van Beek was substituted for Daniel Vermeşan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Ihazintu in the 75th minute of play forced Limitless Delux Edition™'s goalkeeper Yannis Specht to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute Ringo Rau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ergo Muro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Limitless Delux Edition™'s Roderik Vercasteren was substituted for Renaut De Geyter. A collision led to Limitless Delux Edition™ getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Luuk Geerts hit a great ball. The corner led Caatiba MZC's Gaby Milito to fire away a dangerous shot which Yannis Specht despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Caatiba MZC booed when Limitless Delux Edition™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilijano Mpenza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leo Ochoa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Ergo Muro made a huge save. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by Caatiba MZC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mark Dewulf was slow to take the kick. During this time Limitless Delux Edition™'s players had a chance to rest. For all the effort they put into the match, the Limitless Delux Edition™ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Caatiba MZC.
