The goal made the score 1-0. Zuberoa Jane charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zuberoa Jane the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, C.A.River Plate's Zuberoa Jane got a free kick in the 12th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Delfim Araújo got free with Pierre-Alexandre von Buol-Schaudenstein in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lasse Delvig stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pierre-Alexandre von Buol-Schaudenstein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lasse Delvig in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sun Shi Xi in the 56th minute of play forced ALMA GUERREIRA's goalkeeper Cauan Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sun Shi Xi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Cauan Carvalho made a huge save. Sun Shi Xi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cauan Carvalho having to interfere. After 66 played minutes C.A.River Plate got a freekick which was hit by Ekhi Arandajo. In the 67th minute, Delfim Araújo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pierre-Alexandre von Buol-Schaudenstein was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 70 minutes into the game, José San Martín cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Pierre-Alexandre von Buol-Schaudenstein was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cauan Carvalho made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Ekhi Arandajo sent off a good shot on target. Pierre-Alexandre von Buol-Schaudenstein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José San Martín, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pierre-Alexandre von Buol-Schaudenstein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delfim Araújo in the 80th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the game, ALMA GUERREIRA's Delfim Araújo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pierre-Alexandre von Buol-Schaudenstein made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. In the 84th minute Lasse Delvig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierre-Alexandre von Buol-Schaudenstein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If José San Martín had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
