ASDFGHJKLÑ FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Talha Özakan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Talha Özakan struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Epifanio Bermund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A.River Plate. After a defensive mix-up in ASDFGHJKLÑ FC's zone, Matai Aranzabal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Epifanio Bermund came out of the goal and Matai Aranzabal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th match minute, C.A.River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Talha Özakan to maneuver through the defense. Clawirton Barreira was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 25 minutes into the match, ASDFGHJKLÑ FC's goalkeeper Epifanio Bermund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Talha Özakan. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Cristian Barea put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Pierre-Alexandre von Buol-Schaudenstein. Epifanio Bermund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Talha Özakan made a kick off. Talha Özakan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Epifanio Bermund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matai Aranzabal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. The audience was convinced that Matai Aranzabal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Epifanio Bermund was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. If Matai Aranzabal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Epifanio Bermund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Talha Özakan in the 98th minute of the match. C.A.River Plate's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
