The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Federigo in the 5th minute of play forced San Marino İdman Yurdu's goalkeeper Ahmet Necdet Secavend to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the match, QUASAR AZULGRANA's goalkeeper Prospero Shepherd had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Serter Usal. 8 minutes into the match, Serter Usal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Prospero Shepherd. QUASAR AZULGRANA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Serter Usal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Gartxot in the 12th minute of play forced San Marino İdman Yurdu's goalkeeper Ahmet Necdet Secavend to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of QUASAR AZULGRANA booed when San Marino İdman Yurdu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuri Çırakoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marco Federigo in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmet Necdet Secavend prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25th minute, Çelebi Yuvakuran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute, Nuri Çırakoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Federigo in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmet Necdet Secavend saved San Marino İdman Yurdu from getting behind. After 34 minutes San Marino İdman Yurdu's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Justino Constancio who took care of the corner kick. QUASAR AZULGRANA's Jeronimo Isadore got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Rosendo Baristo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Serter Usal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, San Marino İdman Yurdu's Keramettin İshak ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Prospero Shepherd. Prospero Shepherd yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Serter Usal made a kick off. QUASAR AZULGRANA's Prospero Shepherd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serter Usal in the 59th minute of play. Erberk Zülfikar kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 63rd minute by Anier Gaspard got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Prospero Shepherd stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ercole Mirto's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. 71 minutes into the match, QUASAR AZULGRANA's goal looked a bit too open when Keramettin İshak came free, but Prospero Shepherd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd match minute, San Marino İdman Yurdu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hüseyin Turan Haliloğlu to maneuver through the defense. Ahmet Necdet Secavend took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Federigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 77 played minutes QUASAR AZULGRANA got a freekick which was hit by Marco Federigo. In the 78thth minute of the game Serter Usal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but QUASAR AZULGRANA's Prospero Shepherd was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 79 minutes into the match, QUASAR AZULGRANA's goal looked a bit too open when Erberk Zülfikar came free, but Prospero Shepherd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eriberto Lizer hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Serter Usal managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Marino İdman Yurdu's supporters rose to their feet, but Serter Usal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prospero Shepherd breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Mannie Calle took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Ahmet Necdet Secavend to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anier Gaspard got free with Ahmet Necdet Secavend in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 92nd minute Keramettin İshak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Shepherd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prospero Shepherd came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by San Marino İdman Yurdu's Serter Usal. But to his dismay, Serter Usal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. If Anier Gaspard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. San Marino İdman Yurdu's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
